The Mary Durham Boutique, a non profit used clothing store for women, was burglarized at some point over the weekend. A window on the rear of the property was breached, with a cash box and a laptop reported stolen. The boutique is operated by the Women’s Opportunity Center.
A workman was on scene repairing the window on the rear of the building before noon on Monday.
The manager at the boutique says that in her five years of working at the location, there has not been a previous break in. It is unclear precisely when the break in occurred due to the shop being closed since Friday evening. Security camera footage may be forthcoming.
