ITHACA, NY – The Ithaca Police Department is investigating vandalism at a Tesla charging station near Ulta Beauty, Trader Joe’s, and Old Navy off Route 13.
Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief around 1:30 p.m. on February 24. Seven of the eight chargers were defaced with swastikas. Two also had “Hail Hitler (sic)” written on them. The eighth charger had a sticker reading “Tesla is Fascist” but was not otherwise vandalized. The chargers appeared undamaged.
