A 17 year old female was airlifted following a stabbing in the area of 103 South Geneva Street, around 9:10 PM Friday evening.
Bangs Ambulance personnel transported the victim to the airport for helicopter transport to a regional trauma center.
The suspect was described as a white male with a white shirt and red/black pants, brown hair and approximately 17 years old.
Police dispatch audio indicates the suspect may have also been stabbed, and that officers were in possession of a picture showing the suspect bleeding.
Cayuga Medical Center was alerted to the possible arrival of the suspect.
Another victim, 13 years old, reported having a four inch knife pulled on them.
This incident occurred on the first day of the Apple Harvest Festival, just outside of the portion of State Street set aside for the event. Event festivities officially ended at 6 PM.
Ithaca Police are yet to issue a statement on this incident, the second blade attack in two days following a machete assault in the 600 block of State Street on Thursday.
It is unknown if the suspect is in custody at this time. This story will be updated.
